Today we went to the world famous Notting Hill Carnival. About One Million people came to this festival to see all the costumes, music and food! the weather was good, and we had a lot of good views But later in the afternoon it was really very busy and we were barely able to walk, so trying to get back to the tube station was long one. If there is a lot of wind, kiting is a lot of fun. So we went outside to have a go with a few of our kites. Maris got the hang of it quite quickly, and Riley had a big smiley face one. I tried my NASA wing kite to, but after a couple of minutes struggling  with the hard and gusty winds I got blasted away and could not hold on to the kite…. just a few bruises later i decided to pack this one up and keep it by the less powerful ones (see film)

Yes  we are back in the UK. A nice camping holiday in the France Dordogne on the camping: les cascades. We have done a lot of things like see two castles, go Canoeing and go in to caves. The camping it self was very nice with a river and a swimming pool, where you can play in both. Having bonfires, eating marshmallows and meeting a lot of friends. Duncan got a lot of friends and even went out camping in the open air with 10 of them by the camp fire. After that we had to bring back Duncan to Zoetermeer so we took three whole days to get home from France. Coming back to the UK, we got in to a lot of traffic and entering Reading we got in to a thunder storm as well…… But hey, that just proofs we did the right thing by going away to a nice place with sun
