Today we went to Bracknell Forrest with Dan, Mia, Max, Riley and myself. Fun that was… Everybody covert in mud and and still energy enough to talk about it for hours after in the car back home. Here is the track and a pictures

 

Last Thursday we went to Southampton Checking the docks and the citylife, and a look at the nearest IKEA to Reading….. We parked in Hythe and took the small ferry across to Southampton. But first a little train to the end of the pier. On the other side we took a free bus to the city centre and walked about, looked around and took a coffee at Starbucks. and go back the same way as we came in. A nice ride, as you can see if you follow this link!

Yesterday was Halloween, Riley did not like the idea to get dressed up so we stayed in the house got a lot of sweets and carved a very nice big pumpkin. I was quite suprised how good it came out. A lot of children came to our door to “TRICK OR TREAT….” so I scrared them ….. ( not inpressive, just hand over those treats ).

Today we did some shopping in Newbery. A nice easy ride trough the hills around our village. After the shopping we stopt to have a little walk. Wild cows and horses in this former US Airfield. There where a lot of small stones and puddles, so Riley had to trow them all in the puddle…

Today was Riley’s first day at Mrs Bland Nursery school. They must ware school uniforms here in the UK. This is new for us but we do not mind, since this will make all children dress the same and there can be no fights like I had at school because I did not ware an Ajax Uniform to school or wore very expensive other clothes! Doesn’t he look smart like this!
