In this kind of weather you can not stay indoors…. 20° in April is way to good not to go camping. So got to a camping and claimed a nice spot right next to the Thames. Riley is nicely playing with all the kids here, and we are just enjoying the outdoors…

Camping and Longleat

This weekend we went camping in Somerset. Nice weather and a very large campsite, there must have been over a thousand pitches… Very well maintained and very clean. 200 meter from the sea site is also never bad. On saturday we have been to Longleat This is a safari park, they just reopened the monkey park and when we drove through within a minute a couple of those moneys jumped on my car and started to rip off bits and pieces…… they managed to get one bit off, but your not allowed out of the car let alone, get it back…. the route via Cheddar was very nice between the mountains. sunday we took a little tour to Weston-super-Mare and had lunch in the Caravan. packed up and went back home. All in all a wonderful weekend!

Holiday in France

Yes we are back in the UK. A nice camping holiday in the France Dordogne on the camping: les cascades. We have done a lot of things like see two castles, go Canoeing and go in to caves. The camping it self was very nice with a river and a swimming pool, where you can play in both. Having bonfires, eating marshmallows and meeting a lot of friends. Duncan got a lot of friends and even went out camping in the open air with 10 of them by the camp fire. After that we had to bring back Duncan to Zoetermeer so we took three whole days to get home from France. Coming back to the UK, we got in to a lot of traffic and entering Reading we got in to a thunder storm as well…… But hey, that just proofs we did the right thing by going away to a nice place with sun
