Holiday in France

Yes we are back in the UK. A nice camping holiday in the France Dordogne on the camping: les cascades. We have done a lot of things like see two castles, go Canoeing and go in to caves. The camping it self was very nice with a river and a swimming pool, where you can play in both. Having bonfires, eating marshmallows and meeting a lot of friends. Duncan got a lot of friends and even went out camping in the open air with 10 of them by the camp fire. After that we had to bring back Duncan to Zoetermeer so we took three whole days to get home from France. Coming back to the UK, we got in to a lot of traffic and entering Reading we got in to a thunder storm as well…… But hey, that just proofs we did the right thing by going away to a nice place with sun

Riley Birthday Party

YEAH…. Riley is 5 Years old…. and to celebrate this, Duncan and Oma came all the way from Holland. Of course we had a party at the school hall. All the children had a ball and Riley got a lot of presents. Marischka and Oma took all of Saturday to make all goody’s and prepare the cake and savouries. After a tiring day we all were satisfied and happy.

Oxford and Allotment

Oma Bea came from Holland and brought back my oldest son Duncan with her for the bank holiday weekend! Together we went to Oxford to see the sites and all off them helped on our plot to get the new raised beds up. Duncan helped put the raised beds together and filled up the wheel barrow with soil. Oma and Marischka where busy planting some extra peas and other veggies, and Riley was building a pool together with his big brother! All together, a lovely two days out in nature. Today we are going to Cycle the Kennith and Avon Canal, update will follow!
