Still not able to get to work and probably not for the rest of the week, I took a walk though Burghfield Common. and here are some impressions.

And again we are snowed in…. this time it is the heaviest snow in years. This morning there is about 40cm / 14″ of snow. No way we can get out again. Riley had to go to school today, for the first time after the holiday, but that is shut of course! We had a little power cut yesterday, but it seems to be fine today Here are some pictures from this morning.

And the upside off all this snow is ofcourse wonderfull pictures! Lots of nice shots around Burghfield. Riley had lots of fun on the slee and with his friends who came to the hill to play.

Yes, we made it home! The Wonderfull bus driver percisted untill he reached Burghfield So Riley and Marischka were home at 18.30. A long trip but it worked! Me, it took me one hour getting off Thames Valley park and another hour pushing cars up Clayhill, very near to home. and a lot of help from complete strangers helping me up the hill. But me and the car are home, and both in one peace. It is now 21.30 and I am going to get something to eat now! Let’s see if we can get to work tomorrow

WOW, I’m stuck at work right now. The snow hit Reading quite by supprice! it started about 12.00 snowing litey but got heavy very quick. Marischka and Riley are stuck in a bus from Reading to home right now, they left the station around 13.00 and are now just past the outscurts of Reading. The Bus driver said it will be at least a hour or two before they reach Burghfield…. It is 18.00 now and looking outsite the office window, the cars there are not moving at all. My colleque just rang me and he is not even a mile away and he left here at 16.00….
